Ellen hails from a small city in Western New York, where she picked up the guitar at age 11, adding her voice and lyrics soon thereafter, and began taking her original music into local coffeehouses and clubs.  Her branches soon spread out to festivals and universities throughout western and central New York State.

    While Ellen describes her music as acoustic folk/rock, many have classified it as country and pop, while still managing to blend in a touch of reggae and blues.  Through her soulful releases, she has amassed a great local following, attracted to not only her passionate performance and rich alto vocals, but also her intriguing sense of story-telling.

    Though primarily a solo performer, Ellen has been joined upon the release of her fourth full-length album, "Chronophobia," by an excellent backup band that works so cohesively together to elevate and expand her aura to an entirely new level.  The combination of Sunny Paul on lead guitar, Sean McLay on bass and Adam Jefferds on percussion adds up to a powerful, all-consuming force that is sure to wow live music lovers of all kinds and generations.
