A Little Background...

    Ellen began writing folk/rock music at 14 and has been performing ever since, whether solo or with a full band.  Throughout a decade of writing music, Ellen has released four full-length albums and a single, and has frequented various venues throughout Western and Central NY State. 

    While she can usually be found on the local nightclub scene, Ellen's venues of choice are intimate cafes and summer festivals, where she attracts listeners of all ages with her magnetic vocals and polished guitar playing.

    Her's folk/rock style includes a mix of reggae and blues, and has been compared to Tracy Chapman, Jewel, Bonnie Raitt and Natalie Merchant.  Her many influences include the aforementioned as well as Neil Young, Susan Tedeschi, James Taylor, and Harry Chapin.

    Ellen's band members include Adam Jefferds on drums/percussion, Sean McLay on bass, and occasionally, Eric Carlin on lead guitar.
